Everytime I go back up to Rhode Island I have a 3 hr layover in Detroit. How far is that statue from the airport Burner, and do you think they'd let me leave the terminal and take a cab to go see it?

I see that statue all the time. I was at autorama last weekend and got a picture with the actual Joe Louis statue in Cobo hall. He's all over the place here in Detroit.
