how many opportunities was he given to win an alphabet title ?
you could claim the same about vitali klitschko if he was given the same amounts of opportunities and against the same opponents.
and vitali fought an older version of lewis and had the size advantage instead of a huge size disadvantage .

Good question. Who's fault was it that he only received one shot? Tua's, the people who guided him, the alphabet organizations, or the champions themselves? That could be a post all in itself.

        Word?

Mike was faster, much better combo puncher, better head movement, more power and a great chin in his prime. It would be a slugfest, and the crude Tua would get sparked.

No swarming type fighter beats Tyson's. He's the best of that type.

Obviously Tua has immense power and would have a punchers chance against anyone, but personally i cant see him beating anyone on my top 10 list (see sig). It seems that almost every time he took the step up he came up short.

that's why owning some belt means ****. tua fought some good opposition , never been stopped as a pro , and stopped some former champions and then some who went to become such after he destroyed them , so whose worth more ? tua or ruiz ? tua or moorer ? tua or maskaev ?
maskaev did have a belt , so what ?
whose responsible ? definitely not tua , i guess not those who guided him also , b/c they are supposed to want him to win belts. i guess it is Don King and his similars , and the governing bodies of course , and don king is also the clear guilty in orlin norris' case , as norris was given 2 shots at tucker , 1 at akiwande , 1 at vitali klitschko , did anyone get the joke ?
            that joke is real.
