Definately Johnson behind Ali at #1 and Louis at #2. Some people have Louis over Ali which is fair enough as they make some valid arguments.

PS. Pistol whipping should be reserved for the truly moronic, trolls, and *******s (or some combination of the three)

I'm going for Marciano but its a sentimental choice more than anything. And before anyone breaks my balls it could have been Joe Baksi

Holmes at number three? Thanks for that. I needed a good joke.

Why do you think this is a joke? I'll be happy to debate this with you.

What on Earth has he done to deserve a top 3 position? Win against a very faded legend in Ali who had Parkinsons? Win a very close decision against a past-prime Norton?

You could make an argument for him being in the top 10, but in no way is he a top 3 all-time heavyweight.

Most historians have him in the top 5.

20 consecutive title defenses. I don't count the Ali fight as nothing more than a name on his resume. Norton was still prime and fought like it when he defended against Holmes.

He was undoubtedly the best heavyweight of his era but had the misfortune of coming after Ali. He would have been much more appreciated had he been champion in a different era.
