Name some fighters who got pretty far off being a one dimensional fighter. Having just one weapon and not much else in there arsenal?
Fighters Who Got Far Being One Dimensional?

Hatton, although if he was in with someone he couldn't bully and was limited(Urango) or he could afford not to worry about what was coming back (malinaggi), he showed some good boxing skills. -
Henry Armstrong. He didn't really have what you would call "all-time great boxing skills", but he was able to constantly pressure his opponents and overwhelm them.Comment

I was watching Armstrong vs Barney Ross last night and had forgotten just how effective Armstrong was. He didn't have "classical" boxing skills, but his bobbing and weaving style made for an excellent defense and used both hands to the head and body very well. Its just my opinion, but I wouldn't call him one dimensional as much as I'd call him unconventional.Comment

No one really ever gets to or stays at the top being one dimensional.
Edison Miranda is an example of a one dimensional fighter, and he hasn't really been able to crack the top level, never got a belt, theres a reason why.
Tyson was very one dimensional later in his career, especially after losing to Holyfield. Look how far he got.
Hatton was pretty one dimensional, he did get to the top sort of, he smothered and fouled an old Kostya, but still he fought the right fight to win, but really before that he fought no one, his comp after that wasn't spectacular, then Floyd played him like a fiddle and stopped him, and Manny fucking ripped him in half.
See with one dimensional fighters, they have one or two things that make them dangerous or hard to handle, but take that thing away and they fall off.Comment
