Definitely agree, Holmes would have the same trouble all fighters of his style had against Frazier, keeping him from getting inside, and he would fail. Frazier would pound away and wear Holmes down.

Frazier also has a better career for as short as it was, though part of that is to blame on when Holmes came in.

how can you discredit holmes struggles with norton when ali did the same, its a style matchup....holmes would beat the guys frazier beat as well, with exception ali in 71 thats a tossup....bert sugar always ranks attacking fighters like dempsey and armstrong highest so its no shock...

discredit holmes struggles with norton... not discrediting him, i am pointing out that many fight-fans felt that Norton was unfortunate to lose his title in his defence against Holmes.. myself like many others had Norton the winner, i am afraid i cannot agree with you on that Holmes would beat the fighters Frazier beat, Frazier beat those guys when they was in their absolute prime..

No. I should of been more specific and said he was better technically than Ali, if a past prime Ali can give Frazier hell, then a prime Holmes beats Frazier.

Holmes beat Ali when he was thirtysixandamillion years old, a boxer like Ali, who was supposdly be sick already in that fight while using thyrroid(sp?) and using a style he has, you seriously count the Holmes - Ali fight as a loss for Ali?
