Did Frazier and Foreman disrespect the Holmes Era

Alright, They were there in the Golden Age of the Heavyweight Division, the 1970s.

But why Frazier and Foreman retired too early, Smokin Joe was 32, Big George at 28! Did they really disrespect or has no belief the Great Larry Holmes will have a lengthy reign.

Frazier would win again a portion of a HW title with couple of wins (like Holyfield did in 2000 at age 37), he'd beat both John Tate and Gerrie Coetzee, to set up a fight with Holmes (instead of putting his son Marvis)

Foreman too, when Shavers KOs Norton in 1. I would wanna see Foreman-Shavers anytime with the winner fighting Holmes.

Fraziers style was never suited for longevity. He was a shot fighter for the Jumbo Cummings fight.

Hell, Frazier was pretty much "put a fork in him" done after Manila. A fighter can only sponge punishment for so many years before the body just gives out. Not to mention Frazier's crouching non-stop pressure style burns a fighter out quicker than other styles.

Frazier was a shot fighter, and George got a call from up above to spend ten years eating big macs.
        That's your answer.
