It takes a stylist to beat a stylist, so i'll edge towards Charles on this one.. Although i think his best weight was light-heavy, his MW career, during which he was serially avoided, was interupted by 4 years of national service duties..
Ketchell would have to be the 'punchers chance' nomination, but i don't see him being able to outbox Robinson..
Moore at his best weight also stands a very good chance, but he'd need to drag Robinson into a war, and i don't see a prime Ray falling for it..
Billy Conn and Jimmy Bivins, i feel would give him fits before being taken to school down the late stretch, but i'd say he stands a good chance of stopping the rest..
None... no fighter ever KOd Sugar Ray Robinson so why try to belittle the greatest fighter who ever lived with hyperthetical nonsense of coulda, woulda shouda drivel.. the truth is that Robinson would most proberbly KO all those fighters

Moore and Charles at LHW definitely have a chance. They are both bigger, Moore's stoppage record is well known, and Charles is one of the closest things to a larger Robinson you can think of.

I'd give both Charles and Burley a good chance of turning this trick. I don't think he could stop him, but a Greb fight would be very interesting considering all the problems Ray had with Basilio.

You think Burley could stop Robinson? Burley was great, but I just can't see someone without a relevant size advantage doing that.
I think many of the name in that list could beat Robinson IMO (Greb would be one of those I believe), but stopping him... different story.

i agree with this guy......Light Heavyweights outweighing Robinson by 20+ pounds couldn't even knock him out so how would any of these punks do it? i realise this is hypothetical by you are demeaning the great man by even thinking a fighter has a chance at knocking him out in HIS PRIME.....
