Is it true that Gerald McClellan and Michael Moorer boxed each other as amateurs?

hella good point. That was def the case and makes perfect sense. I think they Broke Holy and Tyson up too because of that. They didnt want the heavyweight champ getting ****ed up by a 175 lbder

              - -So, 17 yr old Mike sparring with 20 something Vander as part of the Olympic prep when it was stopped, and you want to extrapolate that in some kind of superiority over Mike?

              Really?

Well holyfield said so himself it was on that day forward he knew he could beat Mike and Mike knew it too. He was saying Mike got all emotional over a game of pool, tried to act intimidating but folded and walked away lol

                  - -Well, in two bit punk world, maybe that means something in the lower social scale.

All I know is Vander turned pro a year before Mike as a cruiser and stayed there all while Mike tore heavy history a new one while setting purse records. Don't sound like Vander read U email telling him how invincible he was while going life and death vs stubby Qawi and the like.

Because at KRONK they sparred to win...and sessions like that would have everyone in the gym and come to the ring and cheer each guy on...it would be a FIGHT...
