so I ended up getting the SRR book. I'm excited to read it. Anyone know a good Sonny Liston book? I found a few I could look into, but I'm wondering which ones people think are best.

Just finished reading the Teddy Atlas autobiography, what an excellent read. It really gives insightful information on the constant grind a boxing trainer has to go through. He tells about his experiences with Tyson and Cus D'Amato and how they fell apart, also about Michael Moorer, his strange ties to the mob, his disoriented family. Overall, it is a great book which really tells a heck of a lot, I recommend it for anyone not just boxing fans.

I am currently reading The Last Great Fight which is a book focusing on the Tyson/Douglass Heavyweight scrap. Thus far it is a good book, it presents both fighters in circumstances that are unfamiliar to the regular joe's, i'm looking forward to flipping through it.

Man I've got so many good ones here in my cabinet. Loved The four kings one, Atlas' is very engrossing, hands of stone pretty good. I enhoyed Hatton and Calzaghe's autobiographies, Benn and Eubanks' are great too. I recently got Sugar Ray Robinsons' autobiography but haven't read it yet.

Also, anyone read any good books on Tyson, seems to be a few to choose from.

Iv hot ahold of 'Hands of Stone', havent got around to reading it yet though.
Bad Intentions by Peter Heller is a good book. The author breaks it up into miny bios of Cus D'Amato, Jacobs, Cayton, Rooney, Atlas and weaves them all together. It seems to be a fairly objective book. The time line ranges from Cus D'Amato's boyhood to the **** trial.

I recommend it if you're interested in Mike Tyson.
