It's just too bad Tyson didn't peak 5 years later than he did.

how can someone even speak and disrespect fighters without even having common knowledge about them, just because tyson beat most of them with ease doesn't make them bums.go crawl back under your rock and think of someone else to disrespect.

I agree, he didn't fight with fear.

tyson is the hardest puncher in the history of boxing, and every fight his fights were entertaining,as he attacked his opponents right from the opening bell, the only thing tyson lacked was the ability to continue to fight after being knocked down,

Would have made things a lot more interesting wouldn't it?

Indeed my friend. That was the best time for him to make a decent resume, even if he lost more than a few fights. Instead he got the HW's who wasted their talents with crack.

Yeah, it's too bad too many people think that losing your "0" ruins everything. Even Tyson himself didn't believe that: Even before he had actually lost a fight he was on record I believe as saying that how you bounce back from a loss is an important component of greatness.

I wish we seen him in a better era. He could have been the real deal, but the division was so weak.

I don't think the era was all the weak to be honest. It was hardly the golden age of heavyweight boxing, but the likes of Razor Ruddock,Frank Bruno,Carl Williams,Tony Tubbs,Tony Tucker, bonecrusher Smith,Pinklon Thomas and Trevor Berbick were hardly bums, they were all good fighters and Michael Spinks and Larry Holmes are two ATG'S.
