(Note: Due to added weight classes, changes in weigh in rules etc, I've put some fighters in different divisions where I think they would fit in best today)

    Floyd Patterson: 175 lbs

    Benny Leonard
    : 130 lbs

    Harry Greb
    : 154 lbs

    Sam Langford
    : 168 lbs

    Joe Gans: 126 lbs

    Gene Tunney
    : 168 lbs

    Jack Dempsey
    : 175 lbs

    Charley Burley
    : 147 lbs

Jimmy Wilde: 108 lbs (I would have said 105, but I would like to see him vs Calderon)

    Joe Louis
: 200+ lbs (Could have made 200, but obviously debate about him at HW is more interesting)
not one of these fighters would stand a chance in todays era, they would not even be sparring partners, they would be local club fighters

I think Joe Louis is a star at HW in any era.

I don't think Floyd Patterson is nearly as successful in modern times.
cant agree with you about Floyd Patterson.. Muhammad Ali said Floyd Patterson was the greatest boxer he ever fought.

Floyd Patterson would KO every fighter in todays 175lb division
