Plus Duran is the only guy to ever beat a prime Ray Leonard

Yeah, that is a huge factor when determining this in my opinion too.

One thing Arguello did do better than Duran is carry his incredible punching power to each division he fought in. The one punch ko of Kevin Rooney is one of the most devastating ko's of his career. and Rooney was a welterweight. Also, that right hand he hit Pryor with would have knocked out any other 140 pounder.

True, but I think you have to take into consideration that Arguello was still bigger than most of his opponents even in his highest weight class. Duran was already smaller than most of his LW opponents and considerably smaller than everyone he fought after 135. That probably had a huge impact on his KO record after 118 to 135.

Nonetheless, Arguello was just a huge puncher and his right hand had monstrous leverage to it. Being taller than everyone would have always helped obviously as it allowed him to get extra leverage. Kind of like Cervantes and other big guys like that that were usually much taller than their opponents. Hearns too.

As to the topic, it would be Duran, Monzon, Jofre, Chavez, Arguello, Napoles, etc etc etc. Lots and lots of guys to choose from.
