if we are talking h2h i don't give crawford a chance in hell on fight night. If we are judging in respective eras....I still probably edge Griffith.

Yeah Griffith took on much better talent, but Bud has good pop and smart timing. One of Griffith's flaws was leaving himself open when he got aggressive on those wide hooks. Like I wrote I favor Griffith, but stylistically Bud has a pathway to victory.

the thing, Crawford displays these skills against essentially amateurs who fight for money, aka pros today. They fight with very little savvy, defense to them is hands glued to the head. It stems from a few reasons, one being lack of activity. In the past you fought all the time and learned the ropes like a trade, you had trainers helping you do this. Now it's not like this, these guys fight like Robots, if you figure out how to throw a jab like Crawford did, you look like a legend.
