  • Jim Jeffries 5 best wins?

    I'm going for;
    Fitzsimmons 1. 167lbs Fitz, two weeks off of 37 years old, 2 years inactive , conceding 39 lbs and 12 years to Jeffries.,is stopped in 8rds.
    Sharkey 1 , 183lbs Sharkey 5 '8 1/2in" , goes 20 rounds with the 205lbs Jeffries.

    Sharkey2.183 lbs Sharkey goes 25 rds with the 210lbs Jeffries,in a close fight, some thought Sharkey worthy of a draw.

    Corbett1. Corbett 33 years old,188lbs ,2 years retired,and having not won a fight in the last 6 years goes
    23 rds with the 218lbs Jeffries,before being ko'd.

    Ruhlin2. Gus 200lbs goes just 5 rds with the 218lbs Jeffries and is retired at the end of the 5th by his manager.

    A year and a half earlier Ruhlin had been slaughtered in 6 rounds by the 158lbs Fitzsimmons.
    So.
    Sharkey1
    Sharkey2
    Fitz 1
    Corbett1
    Ruhlin2
    Are your choices different?

    Sharkey sure would have been a beautiful matchup with Marciano.

        I think I would be afraid to bet. I like to see what I think is an advantage first. They're alike and they can take it all day. Seems like a fight that could very well end by cut.

            - Jeff's best wins are the ones were with better results over common opponents of JJohnson...before he retired after dominating his division ...simples....
