Andre Ward, Calazage and Mayweather. All fought in the same era. So critics would have to base their judgements on these fighters based off other fighters in their Era.

Either he fought the best available fighters in his era or he didn't? If he didn't. Most boxers didn't either between 1990 to now. So theres no reason to single out Floyd unless you are a hater.

The knock on Floyd is for the 1,000,000th time, before he became the a side, he was taking on all comers, getting the best fighters in their prime (Corrales, Hatton, Castillo 2x), even the b/c fighters he destroyed (ndou Hernandez Corley Sharmba, Manfredy) I could even put Chicanito in the elite category, but you get my point. He got respect everywhere,

but after Hatton it was one big cherrypick (Guerrero, Madonna 2x Ortiz, Berto, LightweightMarquez) complete with the overmarination of the best fighters (Cotto Manny Mosley). Not only that but the lamest excuses for missing the fights ever heard

It's no surprise that the level of respect dwindled as Floyd made garbage fight after garbage fight on top of the excuses and that can only apply to Floyd not Mike or Roy. Only to Runny Money Mayweather ya dig
