I agree. Had Oscar been a few years younger it may have been a different story. Floyd career may have been a different story if he was in the same division as Oscor, Tito, Ike, Jose Luis Lopez and Vernon Forrest as well.

That particular era of the welterweight division yes would have been far tougher plus you had past prime Pernell Whitaker still dangerous. Jose Luis Lopez was very underrated maybe need a little more discipline I thought but he gave Ike Quartey all he could handle.

Roy only faced two elite boxers in his prime. Thats the facts. If Floyd aint great then Roy aint great.

When Roy faced Hopkins, hopkins at that time was not considered an all time great. Ricky hatton had more career accolades when he faced floyd then when hopkins faced Roy Jones. Roy is getting credit for what hopkins did after fighting him. If thats the case then Floyd should get the same credit for Canelo.

Why because I think Floyd cherrypicked the second half of his career, when he actually did

Because I say he ducked out of the welterweight division to avoid Williams and Margarito, only to come back and fight a lightweight, which he did

Because I say he ducked prime Manny, which he did

Because lost to Castillo, technically lost to Judah on a dq, and is bogus 50 0 because Conor McGregor isn't even a boxer, which is all facts
