If they wanted to pull the carpet out from under the baby boom generation they were going to have to try harder.

The baby boomers were so arrogant they believed their kids couldn't unravel them. Opps! Surprise.
They got Queen sounding just like his dad but he doesn't see it.
P.S. The 'hippie' movement of the 1960s was in fact also driven by upper middle class kids.
It was like bohemian summer camp for them.
They lived the natural life until the money ran out. Then they called home and mom wired them more money.
The first youth culture in America couldn't really exist until the industrial revolution. Then it came out of the extention of childhood and from the universities. Dressed in buffalo fur coats, beanie hats, and school pennants.
They played football and their parents hated it.
It usually starts with the rich kids.
