Ex sparring partner shares memories of working with legends

Sparring partners have the best stories! This guy Jimmy Allcorn has some awesome anecdotes about Macho Camacho, Livingstone Bramble. Bobby Czyz, Mike Tyson, Ray Leonard, Aaron Pryor... https://ringobserver.com/james-allco...soV9fMS_OPMXZQ

Thanks Willie, enjoyed reading it also. Be nice to see high level sparring partners like Allcorn get more media attention, they have a priceless perspective on boxing greats. Better stories than some of the big fights actually.

        - - Who knew Camacho had a Martial Arts Blackbelt?

Guy may have been the most naturally developed talent in boxing, yet threw it all away in the end.

The turning point of Macho Man's career was the Rosario fight, he was never the same after that. If he somehow took up reading, classical music, painting and philosophy as his extra curricular activities he could have been the goat. https://ringobserver.com/biofile-hec...cho-interview/

"You need to understand, his business involves using your hands, and he likes to bounce around a lot."

Hector Camacho’s lawyer trying to explain why the Macho Man assaulted two police officers while resisting arrest. One cop fell and tore his ACL and had to retire.

Hector never punched either cop, but they couldn't grab hold of him. The charge was dropped, but the possession (cocaine) charge stuck.
