First off, great fight programe. A special keep sake.

        I love real history.

You can learn more from a simple fight programe than a half-dozen biographies.

Anyway . . . As a member of this forum the best I can share with you about Tony McCrorey is what I have learned here . . .

Your great grand uncle ducked the rematch with V. Klitschko; he is greatly overrated, or underrated; he refused to cross the color line because he was scared to fight Sam Langford; he's not as good as Harry Greb because no one is; he fought in the weakest era ever; we can, if you like, keep retitling and qualifying an ATG 'list' so he eventually is #1 on that list; he probably used PEDS, and finally, no matter how his career actually went, somewhere, somehow it was Jack Dempsey's fault.

This much I know to be true.

Oh! I forgot. Do you know if he beat on your great aunt?

If I hear more I'll get back to you.

But seriously, great programe, I added that to my collection. Thank you for the post.

Wow! This was a while ago.

This (the second paragraph) was a sarcastic reply not directed at the OP as much as a warning that the OP will soon be covered in platitudes, cliché, and biases.

It is just a rant of common statements that would likely come.

Which it looks like dudn't. No replies.

The first paragraph I meant. I enjoyed reading the programe. I love examing old boxing sources especially when they come out of someone personal history. So that was the positive side.

The other just a warning that this forum is full of bad history because of opinion.

It's a rant, the phrases din't connect in context.
