BTW Foreman was one of the lucky ones that had a friendship and was mentored to a degree by Sonny Liston. In typical George fashion he humbly stated how much more intimidating Liston was compared to him... Liston taught him the value of presence, we can assume. Both men were scary in the ring and that was before any punches were thrown.
For a great piece of Foreman Mailer did a Playboy piece... And an interesting fact: Liston and Foreman both were great finishers but they had an entirely different style of applying pressure. Liston fought off the line. He used his reach and fast feet (chronically underestimated on his foot speed) to corner and finish... Foreman cut the ring. He would turn you by your shoulders into a corner, walk parallel to you, use angles to take real estate away... Interesting that they both had differences this way at least to me it is.
George loved Sonny as Sonny loved Joe Louis.
Sonny was his mentor and a true father figure.
All three utterly devastating at their terrifying best.
What are you gonna do. Some try to comfort themselves by going on about 'karma' this karma that. Big George makes it to his 70s while George Soros is several decades older and still thriving doing his evil.
That adrenochrome probably prolongs George Soros’ life.
