This is a poll and discussion of course. Who would you make a favorite over prime Gene Fullmer, with the fight taking place in Fullmer's permissive era? Which also means they must make the weight the day of the fight and fight 15 rounds. Vote for those you think should be favorites over Gene.

Wow... All of these fighters you picked deserve consideration. Fullmer was a beast and could endure a tremendous amount of pressure. Hard to predict other than to say with his toughness and throwback attitude, It is hard to imagine a modern fighter winning in a 15 round match... that is a bias on my part, it is more how I feel than a reasoned opinion.

My votes got registered incorrectly. The first two, then Hopkins and LaMotta are the only ones I picked to be favorites. I will have to get better at polls.
