      • Buddy McGirt vs Simon Brown
Outstanding fight , Buddy McGirt had to EARN his shot after losing his JR welterweight title to Meldrick Taylor, Buddy won five or six straight fights and got a piece of Simon and beat him soundly for the welterweight title, very under the radar fight.

          • Watched Gatti Ward trilogy a few nights ago. Been looking for footage of LaMotta Vs Billy Fox from 1947. The fight he admitted to throwing in the 4 round. Anyone ever seen real footage?

                  • Bob Foster / Tommy Hicks

Because it showed up on YouTube new to my knowledge and I'm a Foster fan. Not because it was any classic or anything. Hicks brung it though but took a beating.

                    • Dempsey Sharkey
What an incredible win for Dempsey. Coming back in a losing bout against the PRIME young leading contender. Bloodied and swollen he wins by KO with one punch. Really don't understand the low blow crap as one can clearly see two of the three right hands to the body...three blows in rapid succession all at the beltline and nowhere nearSharkeys balls. In fact the ref stated emphatically that those three blows were NOT low and that neither Sharkey nor his corner complained of low blows during the fight (he did say both fighters were guilty of some low blows during the bout but nothing intentual), the fight doctor examined Sharkey and found no evidence of a low blow. Finally a few days later there was a screening of the fight film at Yankee Stadium for reporters who covered the bout which led to headlines such as..."Film of bout shows body blows were legal"
