  • What Is Bigger Advantage 25 Pounds Weight Bully or Ped's Usage?

I know that it isn't a precise question but what do you guys reckon is possibly a better advantage for a boxer or what would you prefer 25 pounds of extra muscle weight achieved weight bullying and beating the scales or some ped use?

Joe Rogan thinks that the extra muscle weight is better. Do you guys see one advantage generally better than the other?
If you have boxed would you have prefered 25 extra pounds say on your middle or welterweight or to have 12 weeks of steroids in the build up?
I know it aint so obvious but it is a question more and more in today's fight game. What has the biggest advantage ped use or 25 extra pounds on fight night?

Funny thing is...Rogan got most of his muscle weight from PEDs so hes kinda biting from both ends.

Has Rogan admitted ped use in his life? or are you just assuming he has. I heard him say he now takes testosterone replacement therapy due to his age and the usual reasons.

Hard to say. I guess if a player is older and has a lot of emerging health things, like old injuries that take a long time to heal, joint issues, the steroids would be better. Most people do not realize that professional athletes are not even allowed curatives people rely upon that have trace elements of steroidal substances. This is really unfair to me, and it gives athletes a reason to use, along with performance.

As a younger guy? probably take the weight.

I'd say PED use is the bigger advantage. Problem is, PED usage and it's advantages are not tangible. Difficult to determine which of a boxer's traits benefitted overall from PED use and there are different steroids to accomplish different objectives. If a fighter is clean but outweighs be by 25 pounds I know what I'm up against. I've sparred plenty of fighters who were 25 - 50 pounds heavier but they were naturally bigger. They didn't drain down to an agreed upon weight class and then pack on 25 pounds overnight.

For some fighters they can weight drain and it doesn't affect their performance, while for others, it can drain them of their energy because they took off too much weight in a short amount of time. As a fighter gets older it's not a good strategy. I think Spence suffered his humiliating loss to Crawford in part because his body could not longer drain down to 147 and still be at his best. Each of them walks around at about the same weight, but Crawford either trained better or started taking off the weight sooner. His body could handle it, Spence's could not.

When I think back on fighters who were juicing or showed signs of usage or were caught up in su****ious activity, I have to wonder about the outcome of their fights and whether or not they'd have won some of their biggest fights. RJJ, Holyfield, Canelo, Floyd, Mosley, Toney, Morales, Fury all have a cloud of su****ion hanging over their heads as far as I'm concerned.

                - - Depends on fighter physiology, all of whom have differences. Some are big and others small, the entirety of the world.

Queeny is curt us usual. Case closed innit queeny!

Remember that the weight they lose is just water. It is dehydration that brings their weight down.
With steroids boxers will tell you that steroids obviously don't make you a better boxer but they do give you the edge strength wise.
I have read so many times that Holyfeild juiced to go from cruiser to heavyweight.

just out of curiosity did you know that taking viagra each day for a while increases testosterone in men. By a fair bit. James Brown used to take it before going on stage as he felt more energised and vital when he was takiing viagra!
