Post prison Mike was still good enough to employ a similar strategy to what Tommy Morrison did against Foreman, whether he could do it for the full 12 rounds is another question.

      - - Tommyboy punched and ran, often turning his back. Perfectly legal as Ali showed us, but stunk none the less.

Mike never ran, even when he was drugged on sedatives to keep him sane enough to fight.

I agree Mike never ran but can you see him going toe to toe with a guy that hits as hard as Big George and has a granite chin

Never saw any version of Tyson lasting more than 2 rounds against any version of Foreman.

Even in the 90s, Tyson has nowhere else to go but through Foreman which is an impossible task for him. The moment the bell rings he goes forward while Foreman comes forward and the distance is closed.

What happens next is there is contact, and the expert grappler with superhuman strength will completely control a very physically weak Tyson who can't grapple for **** and put him on his back foot, where he is utterly and completely useless if not helpless. Tyson will be out of balance while Foreman has full control, delivering sledge hammers from a safe distance with his superior height and reach.

The only chance Tyson has is in the seconds before the distance is closed. He would have to set up the offense of a lifetime, land everything perfectly and hope Foreman collapses. This is what is called a puncher's chance. Good luck with that against Foreman if you've watched his second career.
