You don't its engaging to speak on things that some only THINK about? I discuss it all, even topics I am not well versed on (I'll pick up info from posters who DO know). If a racial issue arises, you would prefer that I keep silent about it, don't stir any pots at all? If so, WHY? Other people can discuss sensitive subjects but I cant? Makes NO sense.
    - - Ice, talking about racial matters with the wrong folk seldom leads to enlightenment. Esp with internet trolls on boxing forums.

However, an interesting racial poll in the Hillbill/Rump Prez election revealed something like 90% black females going for Hillbill and only 15% black males who either voted Rump or Independent or didn't vote.

There are reasons, but how the fur flies getting to them...

people think discussing racial issues that result in an opinion that goes against theirs on the matter is race baiting.

      Except when they do it.

Wait, y'all dirty mafs turned my nice tribute thread into a critical thread did you?

Honestly, I was embarrassed by my inability to find time to add to the content of the tribute so I stayed away from the thread until I could add, but, I'm glad I checked the state of things.

I am now embarrassed by the state of our community.

                - - Nor do I, the reason I can post unbiased opinions unlike most folks who lost their wads.

Boxing is too chaotic to bet.

I think John Scully should be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame for his diverse career in boxing and also his selfless philanthropic work raising money to help former fighters who are in need. He's a special guy and one of boxing's greatest ambassadors.

Still remember boxing writer great Wally Matthews writing in one of his New York Post columns, "Never ever bet on boxing." Coming from an insider who was involved in the sport for decades, that's some valuable advice.
