Hard to figure... different eras, different "boxing." Liston has amazing skills at his best. They are obvious when viewed on tape... But with Willard we don't exactly know what we are dealing with... There is nothing much to look at. My instinct would be to go with Liston.

i would go for liston. if we take all the trash talk and pressure from the media and supporters away from his clay fights then liston was a killer. liston was great. he just happened to fight the ultimate great that night!
