ANYONE fool can list the ranked contenders ( Ring magazine top ) which are active in a fighters career. There are a lot of them. It does not mean he avoided them! VK as champion from 1999-2000 in the WBO and 2004 - 2012 in the WBC . If he missed so and so I say who are they, where they ranked, what is their record, was the fight in demand and was Vitali healthy enough . Questions which you will most certainly duck

But did Vital ever drop a belt to avoid a contender? That would be no.

I never saw any video of the knockdowns or Vitali speak about it.. Where is it ? You don't have it. Were Walker and Butler ever ranked? That would be no. Walker ended up 39-14-1 being knocked out 10 times and being KO'd by Vitali Ko victims that were ranked.

Butler ended up 35 and 12 being Ko'd 7 times and was also stopped by guys Vitali stopped.

Keep in mind if the knockdown did happen, so what . VK was coming off injuries. VK must have spared 1,000 or rounds. Surely he was down once in sparring. This was not an exhibition or a real fight. Nor were Raphel and Butler ever ranked, they were lesser men than Vitali had fought and would rate as Vitali worst opponent if he had fought them then from a ring record standpoint since at least 1999. To suggest Vitali avoided them is laughable even for your extreme hating standards.

Vitali is one of two champions in heavyweights never to be floored. That is the history.

That's a lot of excuses and context that we all didn't see when you tried to make this same comparison with Jack Johnson. Ivich did a pretty good job exposing you.

“He (Klitschko) was throwing a jab and he pulled back and was coming forward. Butler hit him with a right hand and Klitschko went down and his knee twisted underneath him. That was the last day of sparring. It was on a Friday, one week before the fight against Hasim Rahman on Nov. 12, 2005.

“The day before, Walker hit him with a body shot. It was a left hook to the body, and it knocked Klitschko down.”

Yes it was 2005 a typing error 7 days before the Rahman fight. We know the month and the day, thanks to Walkers trainer

No it’s not absurd. Read the article. It’s vital is livelihood. He has been injured before and he possibly hoped he could go through with the fight also given the fact fact that rahman was just an overachieving clubfighters having had his ass handed to him in sparring Brian Nielsen.

Your hypothesis was that Vitali was knocked down twice BECAUSE of his knee injury and that's just plain rubbish.

He went for surgery AFTER Butler knocked him down.No matter how you wriggle and spin this ,that is a fact.He didn't spar with them in the hopes he could work off the injury thats just plain BS.

You chose to insert yourself into this thread, which you are perfectly entitled and welcome to do,but perhaps it would be better if you confined yourself to the subject,rather than making public criticisms of the thread maker on unrelated subjects ? Anything you're unhappy about on any other subject can be dealt with in a PM,I would have thought.Perhaps Mods on this Forum act differently to others?

Oh. How do you know it wasn’t just aggravated? Are you sure it wasn’t from a morning jog? Did Vitali say it happened as he was kd’ed?

No it’s not bs. Note that Vitali kissed a monster purse goodbye. He might have felt that a slight injury wouldn’t hinder him beating a clubfighter.
