Both Travis Walker and Raphael Butler knocked Vitali Klitschko down in sparring yet neither got a title shot against him,why not? Walker dropped Vitali with a body shot and the next day Butler dropped him with a shot to the chin.Yet Vitali never fought either?
Btw wasn't those (claimed) knockdowns happening because Vitali had the knee injury that kept him out for yeas?

      No,chronologically you are wrong.
He (Klitschko) was throwing a jab and he pulled back and was coming forward. Butler hit him with a right hand and Klitschko went down and his knee twisted underneath him. That was the last day of sparring. It was on a Friday, one week before the fight against Hasim Rahman on Nov. 12, 2005.

“The day before, Walker hit him with a body shot. It was a left hook to the body, and it knocked Klitschko down.”

The fight with Rahman didn't happen because of the knee injury right? The knee injury that happened in sparring remember? I think my chronology is correct.

No you claimed the knockdowns happened BECAUSE of Vitali's knee injury and that is not the case.

Walker knocked Vitali down and the next day Butler knocked him down and in the process Vitali twisted his knee and the Rahman fight was cancelled .

ergo The knockdowns did NOT happen because Vitali had a knee injury, the knock downs happened BEFORE the injury which occurred as a result of the second knockdown.

We don't really know when the knee injury happened. We only know that the Rahman fight was postponed and then cancelled.

This led to the long first retirement of Vitali and thereby the answer to your thread question. I'm sure you already knew that and that this thread was only made in order for you to slap a fellow poster and in turn get a dig in on Vitali.

Or tell me that you really didn't know why they didn't fight?

5Yeah we do it happened in November 2005, the 5th to be exact ,7 days before the Rahman fight was due to take place when he was sparring .
It happened when Butler knocked him down So I'm right and you are wrong .
Yes the thread was made and expressly aimed at Dr Z to expose his double standard hypocrisy, about once a week he manages to inform everyone that Gunboat Smith stunned Johnson with a punch in sparring and tries to build it up into some sort of cause celebre.
Z isnt a fellow anything to me, I don't even acknowledge he is human. because to do so demeans the rest of us , and I know him and you don't!
I've nothing against Vitali,he was a very good fighter and imo is an excellent man.
Of course Vitali did not fight either Walker or Butler they were not in his class and when Smith momentarily stunned Johnson he wasn't in Johnsons class either!
His window of opportunity as a credible challenger to Johnson lasted about a year. His claim to fame is 2 debateable decisions over a still developing Willard and a disinterested and fat Langford ,who put the record straight with an emphatic 3 rd ko in the rematch.

I shouldn't try to second guess my reasoning if I were you,you don't seem to be equipped for it!

It wasn’t in 2000. It was in 2005. We don’t know when he injured the knee. It could have been before the kd. So I am right and you are wrong.

Yes they were never in his class. Some here in this thread don’t care about that though, but just want to throw some sjit on him for reasons unknown. They were never in his class and Vitali had the long absence which is the answer to your thread.

Dont second guess me. I can hold my own and don’t participate that much inyour petty vendettas.

Yes it was 2005 a typing error 7 days before the Rahman fight. We know the month and the day, thanks to Walkers trainer
.Bottom line the injury happened a week before the fight .Unles you think Vitali was sparring with an injured knee for a fight that had been cancelled?ABSURD
