Wills, Jeannette, Langford, ect have a plethora of so called white boxers on their records, apparently because the white boxers and promoters that arranged the fights were racist according to you.

Majority of the world's top scientists have come out and stated that there is no sound scientific basis for the concept of race, so pray do tell us where that leaves your lectures on racism?

Your question didn't anger me; your inability/refusual to understand my first response, that there was no single answer, annoyed me.

I feel today people look for racism in everything far too much but all of your answers are due to racism. none of them show the men to be noble and brave just based on racism. not due to the man being the best fighter of his era like mandatory challenger. more just politics. none of your reasons accept the fact that a black man may have earned the right to a shot at the title based on merit.
i hope my sublime response will keep you
          pepped!
I cannot discern what you are trying to say to me.

"a black man may have earned the right . . . based on merit,"

Are you saying I am racist because I didn't include the above possibility on my list of possible color line causes?

The very fact that some black men deserved a title shot (on merit) and didn't get one is why the color line existed. If that didn't happen there never would have been a color line.

          ????????????????

The very fact that I am giving possible reasons for the existance of the color line implies I believed some black men deserved title shots on merit and didn't get them.

I am not sure what you think I was suspose to include on that list.

I really do not understand the point you are making.

i think i am talking a bit longer before dempsey's time. i was going back a bit furter the previous time.
it did exist willie. denying it existed is just not right. you were never racist not one bit. not at all. but you are denying black fighters experience before jack johnson's era.

How can I give you six possible reasons why it existed and have you conclude that I am denying it existence?

Again, my point is and was --> that there is no SINGLE reason for its existence and that anyone of the several reasons you should choose to embrace is provable.

Please reread my original post when you can.

How can you possibly take that statement and conclude I am denying its existence?

look queeny, i am not going to be like other people and say "oh queeny you are so misguided and fool hardy" you see. I'm not going to be like others and say you got your boxing knowledge on the back of a *** box.
do you see? I'm not going to say "queeny doesn't know jack about boxing I wish he would bog off"
I wont say that because i believe that everyone deserves the chance to speak. even those who simply don't know bog all about boxing history.

OK so let's get back to your OP that I digressed from (sorry).

You genuinely seem to feel that white fighters avoided black fighters mostly out of fear of defeat.

(Yes I remember that you went with #3 on my list which is a different argument, but let's go back to your OP instead.)

Tell me how you see that in the fight game; why you see it that way.

The big names that usually get pushed around here (Boxing Scence) as color line duckers are: Dempsey, Jeffries, Corbett, Sullivan, Tunney, Jack Johnson (ironic).

The big victims of the color line are usually sited as being: Langford, Jeannette, Wills, Peter Jackson.

Certainly there are others as well so please feel free to add to either list, but go with you opinion. I'm reading and won't digress twice.
