How many pairs of brothers can you guys think of - where both met (not necessarily beat) at least 3 members of the IBHOF?
Trivia: Brothers who fought at least 3 HOFers

- - Gibbons bros likely top. Spinks likely meet the criteria.
Maybe the Ks after their era gets sorted by IBHOF 20 yrs from now... -
Also, the Spinks brothers, of course.

Brothers Baer are out as Buddy doesn't make the cut with only Louis on his resume.
Going to check out the Brothers Zivic next see if big brother Jack can meet the criteria. Pretty certain Fritzie does.Comment

I haven’t checked, but heres a few North American brothers that might fit the bill. North Americans are far more likely to be in the ibhof than others.
Quarry brothers
Ruelas
Canizales
Hagler (and Sims) (half brothers only I know)

No, sorry... none of those pairs fits the bill.Comment

It looks like my Brothers Zivic comes up one short.
Big brother Jack tangled with Lew Tendler and Young Corbett III but can't find a third.
Can I get a 1/2 point for Ruby Goldstein. He fought Jack Zivic and is in the HOF (as a referee?)
P.S. Younger brother Fritzie was obviously a no brainer but Jack let me down.Comment

In addition to Tendler and Corbett III, Jack also fought Jackie Fields - so that's 3½ (if we count Goldstein, lol).
But that's not all... another brother, Eddie, met no less than 4 HOFers: Armstrong, Canzoneri, Wesley Ramey, and Freddie Miller.
So we have here not just 2, but 3 brothers, who all met at least 3 HOFers... and unless I'm very much mistaken, I don't believe there's another group of brothers, who can claim that!Last edited by Bundana; 01-17-2023, 05:48 PM.Comment

Actually, you hit jackpot big-time with the Zivics!

Didn't know there was a third brother; that's some deep knowledge you got.Comment

There was actually a 4th brother, Pete... but he met only one HOFer, Panama Al Brown. Still, 4 brothers that all fought HOFers... a rather special family!Comment
