    First Blood

When was the last time a bookmaker took a 'first blood' bet?

Did such a bet ever actually exist or is it just folklore?

Did it end with the advent of gloved fights?

Can you still make such a bet?

If not in the States, then somewhere else? Mexico, Thailand, Belarus, Etc.

    - - Not into the wager scene, but it is interesting to see the variety of bets that can be wagered, particularly with Brits who seeming like to wager on political elections and the like.

Geez, what's the over and under on the split between Prince Harry and Princess Megan?

Likely on a local basis there have been first blood bets that were perhaps more important in bare knucks days where bleeding usually meant a guaranteed KO or Quit stoppage.

I've seen a few websites that offer some very odd wagers selections. I recall once, possibly for some huge fight, where there was a selection on when a fighter would get cut during a fight.
