Who apart from a past prime Tyson did Lewis ko who had an elite chin?
I guess Lewis doesn't get credit for stopping McCall. But if one is ignorant Boxrec can convince you that he did.

McCall had a great chin. Would Lewis have stopped him that night if McCall hadn't fallen apart?

Lewis is elite power, but I do have to agree about the McCall fight. McCall had his meltdown and Lewis saw that McCall was diminished and started teeing off on him.
The punches seemed little more than annoyance to McCall.

He would possibly have stopped him, but would he have ko'd him or even floored him? I doubt it.

Well, but that is a little like asking if Basilio would have had a puffed eye if Robinson hadn't hit him there.

          @@@@@

I think this letter is not about averaged punching power or punching effectiveness, but a single punch into a gizmo My own ranking with reasons:

          1. Foreman.
          2. Wilder
          3. Shavers
          4. Tyson
          5. Lewis

George KO'd or TKO'd some fine chins and fighters. Wilder never KO'd an elite fighter, but I think he is second on this list anyway. Shavers was too small to hit as hard as the first two. He hits harder than Lewis or Tyson though, who also have weight. Tyson is next, then Lewis. Some close calls here. Cannot fault anyone trying to choose from this bunch.

I will be leaving for a while. I have to go sit with my 93 year old daddy the doctors say will be dead by the end of the weekend. At times like these a man sees how pointless and foolish all the arguing over anything at all is. Cheers.
