  • Trivia: Undefeated in most calendar years?

    To clarify:

We're looking for the boxer, who was active (at least one pro fight) in the most calendar years, where he didn't lose a single time.

Our man may have lost one or more fights in any number of years spread over his career... which doesn't really matter, since we're only counting the years where he didn't lose.

So... who do you guys think tops this particular category?

    - - Sissy Boy Blubber turned pro 2009 and last fought 2022, a 19 year span.

However he skipped 2 years entirely, so I'd imagine 17 years in the top 5 if not Home of actual fighters undefeated, not some obscure show pony.

      - - What's up with Home suddenly being Home link. That should be Numero Uno, ie number 1 of all fighters.

Yea happened to me too - if you go back and correct it on edit it will hold the term number 1.

That's a span of 22 years where he missed only two (2008 and 2016).

And since he never lost, this means he was undefeated in 20 active years. Which is way up there - but not quite in 1st place on the list.

Hmm...Chavez didn't even fight for twenty years, did he? That is who I was going to guess.

Chavez was actually active in 25 different calendar years, but he lost in several of them... so you're right, he's not our man.

Simon's career spanned 25 years - but he missed so many, that he was active in only 15 calendar years!
