I randomly checked an era of welters and came up with these four:

Simon Brown, Terry Norris, Luis Santana, Vincent Pettway.

So still no fiver for me

Thanks.. This is a good post (brain teaser)..

I'm working on a 6, but it's hard work if you don't remember the fights (fighters)

Looking through the records to do this will make you dizzy...

Yep, can think of many fours but no fiver yet.

One great era would have been the 60's bantamweight era. I know that the large majority all fought each other, but can't be bothered going through records to check.

          Jose Medel
          Chucho Castillo
          Lionel Rose
          Ruben Olivares
          Fighting Harada
          Jesus Pimentel
          Bernado Caraballo

I can remember that all of these guys fought each other but I'm not that certain that each and every one intersect perfectly.

I know that Rose fought Castillo, Olivares, Harada, Medel and I think Caraballo.
I know that Olivares fought Castillo, Rose, Medel, and Pimentel but I'm pretty sure that him and Harada didn't meet.
I know that Castillo fought Rose, Olivares, Caraballo, Pimentel and Medel but I don't think he met Harada either.

Anyway, great topic. I'll have to think of some more.

Chavez and Mancini never fought from memory. That era though would probably hold a few fours that did.

Actually, around that time just below would be great to check out. I can think of many fighters from that era whom all fought each other.

            Jose Luis Ramirez
            Bobby Chacon
            Jose Torres
            Arguello
            Boza Edwards
            Rafael Limon
            Rolando Navarette
            Julio C. Chavez
            Arturo Frias
            Danny Lopez

Apart from Julio C. Chavez I think nearly each of these guys fought each other at one time and you might be able to get a fiver or more out of these. Great era.

Just now I did a check on Harry Greb and some contemporaries. I couldn't even find a 4.

I WILL find a fiver without Ali soon before I go mental!

Would love to take that 10k from you, Bat... and thought this fiver might do the trick:

                Bob Foster
                Roger Rouse
                Andy Kendall
                **** Tiger
                Eddie Cotton

But, on closer inspection, Tiger and Cotton of course never met. Same old story - so close, but ind the end one measly fight is always missing!

                Still looking, though.

havent done any research but if you count the colored heavyweight title, im sure that
                    jack johnson
                    sam mcvey
                    joe jeanette
                    sam langford

all fought each other and held the colored title at one point or another......... im sure a fifth could be found in this group.....
