  • Where Does The Canel/Golovkin Trilogy Rank With Other Middleweight Trilogies?

    - - I'd say it ranks pretty high by the high level each fought at.

Both apex Greats with good off setting skills and natural attributes not to mention a Ben Hur type of betrayal rivalry continually stoked over time, and the time is this Saturday.

Lamotta and Sugar Ray fought a sexology, so refresh me on analogous trilogies.

Canelo a PED cheat. That taints everything he's ever done or ever will do. At least that's your logic.

Zale-Graziano probably the best middleweight trilogy.

It reminds me of the first 3 Fullmer/Robinson fights. Robinson was a decade older and by the time they fought the third fight he was already 39 and past prime. By the 4th fight Robinson was two months shy of 40 yet still competitive. I would put the Canelo/GGG trilogy in the top 5, but the robberies tarnish it for me, especially the first fight.

Griffith/Benvenuti trilogy was very competitive. All three went the distance and one of them was Fight of the Year.

Zale/Graziano was probably the most exciting of the MW trilogies with all three ending by KO.

          - - Scored the first fight one point for Canelo that closely matches the draw. I score even rounds because it's always the even rounds people howl about thinking their guy won those rounds.

They were mostly howling about Byrd with her impressively wide scoring who was planted to ensure a Canelo win. Dunno why folks are fussed over scoring when they are part of the problem of allowing nontransparent cards where the scoring is hidden unlike the ball sports who keep a scoreboard for the public.

2nd fight a 5 point margin over Golovkin who was battered everytime he approached ring center held by Canelo. Canelo emasculated the emasculator as told by his rapid ascension with Golovkin seemingly a lost soul at sea.

Canelo made the 2nd fight personal after being accused of a drug cheat in spite of never failing a drug test and even volunteering hair samples for testing.

If this fight is as good as the other two, has to be among the top middlewt trilogies in history even if this fight is at traditional LightHeavy.

I love how Alvarez contaminated meat story works for you, but not Fury's uncastrated boar story. You see that's just it.....they're both stories. Professional athletes take drugs. Some get caught (like Canely and Fury) some dont. If you're gonna call one a cheat, than you have to do it for the other.

              - - Fury was busted for a specific, notorious steroid not found in the food chain.

Canelo tested for ghost clen nanograms below the FAIL threshold in the middle of testing consistent with local food contamination per VADA. I realize nano IQs dunno squirt from squat, but world waterways are chock full of pharmaceuticals because of a minority of drug cultists. Texas ranchers liked the steroid results on their cattle and gave it to their football players.

Need to give it up, son and concentrate on what ever job you hold.

              Git thee a grip!

Canelo is a juicer. Even looks like one. 100% cheat. Just like almost everyone in professional sports. Only difference, he got caught. Like I said, it's an amusing double standard you have to believe Alvarez excuse but not Fury's.

Impossible to say until the third fight happens. What if GGG is stopped in 3 rounds or vice versa

                    - - Sorry to hear you're addicted to Viagra, an unnecessary American Big Pharma creation that has enabled ongoing, beyond countable, millions of ****s world wide not to mention polluting our waterways.
