I was a big fan of Hopson. Loved watching him come up in the early 90's on Tuesday night fights and Thursdays on ESPN. He reminded me of Meldrick Tarlor though he never quite reached that level. His confidence was gone after his loss to Tracy Harris Patterson. To bad, he had talent and was fun to watch.

Where did you hear this? I've looked and can't find a thing about it, including a death sate in Wikipedia and other such sources. What happened to him, he was still young?
