I think Camacho was mostly athleticism and conditioning. Possessing the gift of super speed in both hand and foot, he could run a long time. A fighter with such talents can afford to have technical limitations. Sergio Marty relied heavily on his athleticism, too. Prince Hamed. Popo. All forgotten sensations in their day finally schooled by sound tradition more modestly talented. I'll bet you could name many others cut from the same cloth. Most did not go quite so far.

Why isn't Joe Gans in this? We all know that he's arguably the goat LW.

Why are Pacquiao and Camacho even in there?

Joe already got himself busted up over in the larger tourney I was running. Hector knocked him cold, I believe.

So you put the tournament in a 30s setting and yet allowed modern roids?

Camacho on roids? I doubt it - would get in the way of the coke.

Naw, no conflict between blow and roids: Just pick random NFL player as evidence

I would put Ike Williams and Carlos Ortiz in there in place of Pacquiao and Camacho. Manny was only at 135 very briefly.

Water bully Mosley is disqualified on that alone. His lightweight opponents looked like midgets next to him. I still say he was not good enough to make this list anyway.
