    It is customary in mythical match ups to fight under the rules and customs of the fighter from the earlier era, if the eras differ. In this case Louis could not benefit from the neutral corner rule.

      Fine, you say he beats Jack sans any rationale. As I mentioned, they were very close to fighting in 1934 with Jack fighting himself back in shape while Joe a rapidly rising contender. Thread title poorly worded as obviously 1940 Joe at his peak while Jack was long retired, not a real fight.
