I always felt the Roy Jones vs James Toney fight was a little bit of a let down. Yes, Jones outclassed him, but it was more of a tactical chess match, each guy waiting to counter the other.

The rubber match between Leonard and Duran was another big disappointment.

      - -Manny being cursed with smothering stereotype of being no more than a Filipino houseboy had a number of bust out fights starting age 19 when he went as a sacrifice to the great Thai champ Sasakul before BTFO and KTFO the poor guy who never knew what hit him.

Gave him his first Ring ranking and little else, so when the next great champ came calling, he became the first fly to win a feather title with a massacre of Barrera. Then after savaging subsequent divisions, gets the call for his first superfight vs Oscar where's he's too small, blah, blah, before dismantling Oscar like a kid picking the legs and wings off a fly.

Then in his 40s now as a full time senator and part time fighter for 10 years, knocks down a prime Thurman and has him busted up by the end of the 1st round to rouse up the people yet again. Me thinks Spence is too big of a gap to bridge, but Spence still making his own comeback from disaster.

History in the making loaded in the queue waiting to be written...stay tuned...

          - -First fight terrible with Roy with a broken hand fighting one handed vs what can only be stated as truth, a Popkins clumsy oaf who musta trained on his air guitar for this disaster.

Whatever respect I had for Hopkins went out the window during that fight. His pathetic acting looking to get a DQ and point deductions. He did this in other fights as well, while he himself was the dirty fighter.
