is it because he got senselessly beat by Floyd? Just to make one of Floyd's best wins look not-so good? He isn't no ATG, but he was great, certainly good at least.

He had a great fan-friendly style and he definitely had a couple of great wins. He beat Roberto Garcia who was world champ and undefeated, and Juuko/Manfredy were good wins. But actually his best wins came after he got beaten to a pulp by the great Mayweather.

He narrowly beat Casamayor (130) who was world champ, and he would later move to beat the undefeated Freitas and he would later beat lineal champ Castillo in one of the BEST fights in history. How the **** could anyone call this dude a C level fighter?

He was OK. I thought his defense was pretty bad. He was decked many times, in many bouts. He was his own worst enemy by taking things too far with the aggression and leaving himself open.

I put him on the same level as a Danny Garcia, good, not great.

Yeah, I saw that being said around here too. Loved Chico.

You're likely right about the Floyd thing. I saw someone say that Genaro was a bum too

Those who think or speak bad of Corrales as a fighter are not to be even considered.

            You answered your own question.

That's literally all there is to it.

But people who actually know boxing, knows Corrales was dangerous but with some flaws.
