Benitez was a child prodigy. He beats Canelo under age 26 at 154 Lbs. Canelo wins at age 28 and above at middleweight and super middleweight. It is a toss-up at age 27 at 154 lbs and Canelo wins easily at 160 lbs and above at that age.

At 154 Benitez wins. Canelo struggled with Lara and arguably received a gift decision--Benitez is ranked much higher than Lara. Even Cotto at the CW title fight gave a great showing of himself despite being the much smaller man in the ring that night. Benitez was a big 154 at almost 6' tall and great defensive skills.
