Ref: Slimey Limey: Yes... You're right, Tucker & Smith fight nothing like Joe Louis, who can box & punch with 2 fisted KO power without holding..

So Ruddock's chin is superior to that of Louis, because Joe got KD by Galento who was a journeyman noted for his punch?
Wasn't Ruddock KTFO by David Jaco?.... A journeyman noted for getting KTFO..

And if Baer was ****ting himself more than Spinks, then he did a much better job of it.. Lasting 4 rounds, & during the fight, shouting, 'He's beatin the crap outta me!' to the crowd.. He also jested similar phrases to the referee, in between rounds.. Spinks looked like a rapist, about to be stoned by the crowd & lasted less than a minute..

You have got to be the most idiotic person I've seen on this forum. You're obviously a Joe Louis hater. I take nothing you say seriously. It's a mockery that you even post in this section.

Are you talking about the Ruddock that got KO'd 4 times out of his 5 losses? The one who was knocked out by a journeyman? No discredit to him as a fighter but he isn't on Louis' level.

with more than once, to knock him down..
Spinks took a layoff of boxing and then fought Tyson and I'm not going to discredit that win but it looked like Spinks was looking for a way out.

Baer was a far better puncher than Spinks. He on the other hand actually fought Louis. Baer was never knocked out until that fight.

Say what you want but most of Tyson's dominating KO's were over "bums".

Seriously, if you're even going to bother posting here you should gain knowledge of fighters.

Louis was knocked down in almost all of his fights. The **** didn't have a chin, zero. He was hurt or knocked down by bums. Ruddock went life and death against Tyson twice. He kept getting up from Lewis' titanic right hands. He ate Morrison's best punch, one of the best ever landed, and he got up in 2 seconds. We're talking CHINS here, and in that aspect Ruddock is superior.
Louis on the other hand had a glassy, porcelain china chin made out of thin paper, which is produced in a Chinese fabric factory.

Wasn't Ruddock KTFO by David Jaco?.... A journeyman noted for getting KTFO..
Inexperienced Ruddock ran out of gas. If you didn't just take a peek at boxrec you'd know this.

And if Baer was ****ting himself more than Spinks, then he did a much better job of it.. Lasting 4 rounds, & during the fight, shouting, 'He's beatin the crap outta me!' to the crowd.. Spinks atleast went through with it. Baer was so struck with fear that Jack Dempsey was disgusted by it. Louis thrived on his opponents fear, just like Tyson, so this is completely irrelevant in this matchup.

Aww, that's so sweet of you lad Are you mad?

You're obviously a Joe Louis hater.
Because I don't favor the cowardly wife/bumbeating quitter in this horrible styles mismatch? Get your head out of Joseph's arse will ya mate.

Yet you spend time at another try to convince me.

We're talking about CHINS here. Don't get paranoid.
Ruddock ran out of gas early in his career. Against Tyson he was in a power punching slugfest. Lewis was an animal that night. Against Morrison he was washed up.
You DID try to discredit Ruddock here and you should be whipped for it.

Spinks took a layoff of boxing and then fought Tyson and I'm not going to discredit that win but it looked like Spinks was looking for a way out.
You just did. Listen ******, if you're going to say you won't discredit a fighter, you're not supposed to just do it anyway.
If I say I won't piss on your carpet and I do it anyway how would you look at me?

Baer was a far better puncher than Spinks. He on the other hand actually fought Louis. Baer was never knocked out until that fight.
Who's comparing Spinks to Baer? This is about Louis vs Tyson.

Spinks beat a top 10 or 5 ATG HW twice. Beat up Cooney, and a few other lesser lads. He was proven, whatever you "hatazzz" say.

Say what you want but most of Tyson's dominating KO's were over "bums".
Atleast he didn't himself almost get KTFO in the process, unlike Joseph.

I agree that Louis could take down a prime Tyson, even if he gets knocked down a couple of times in the early rounds, he can outlast Tyson and get him by a KO in the late rounds, Tyson didn't have enough stamina to handle a prime Louis.

If he fought in an era any better than the one he was in that would be the most likely result. Put that lad in the 70s and he would be c class. He'd look like a sitting duck, deer caught in headlight etc. He'd spend more time laying on the canvas than actually fighting on it.

Something I just learned a moment ago. There is so much ado about PPV numbers nowadays and who the draw is. It is said that a staggering 70,000,000 people world wide listened to the second Louis-schmeling fight live. I know it has nothing to do with this thread but thought some might be interested.
