Trevor Berbick was a very rugged, tough customer and was the sole reason that Lennox Lewis chose to campaign his pro-career from Britain so as to avoid fighting Berbick should he have turned pro in Canada

Why do you make up lies Sonnybox ? Lewis left Canada because he knew he could exploit his British roots and make more money and because he felt the people looking after him did not have his best interests at heart and they were only interested in doing things for their own ends.

Not once have you dis-proved a single thing that i have said, all you do is revert to your schoolboy playground tactics of slandering me personally, now you are trying to get a Gang behind you before you start to fight by saying "No One Here" agrees ha ha

prove what i claim to be wrong and if you cannot then go to a topic that you think you know something about, dont just write slanderous remarks to me because you dont like what i write... prove what i write is wrong, because the 1st thing someone will do when the truth hits them is lose their rag and start swearing etc just like you are doing.

Why would anyone need to disprove your arguments, they are so ****** they dont need addressing because commonsense is enough to tell you that its just some guy with a hard on for hating on Lennox Lewis.

now you are trying to get a Gang behind you before you start to fight by saying "No One Here" agrees ha ha

Well why dont you find one poster in this thread that does actually agree with you. There isn't one, well what does that tell you ?

He should have fought Herbie Hide then in "The Battle of Britain"... Rid**** Bowe had no qualms about fighting Hide nor did Vitali Klitschko...

Exploit his British roots is a load of crap... Lewis has just been honoured into the Canadian Hall of Fame.. have the Canadians honoured Frank Bruno into their hall of fame also

a SHOT fighter is someone like Evander Holyfield is NOW or how Roy jones Jr was in the Calzaghe fight, thats being SHOT. Holyfield was still very much game when he fought Lewis, yes past prime but not SHOT. you dont now the MEANING of the word SHOT. SHOT and PAST PRIME is 2 completley differnet things.

and yes the Holyfield in the Lewis fight was less past prime than the Holmes in the tyson fight. Larry Holmes was 39 years old, coming of a 2 year layoff and lost his 2 last fights versus Michael Spinks. while Evander Holyfield had beaten Mike Tysonx2 and Michael Moorer and was on a winning streak and held the WBA and IBF titles when he fought Lennox Lewis. Shot? Get Real.

That was to your claim that Holyfield was shot when Lewis fought him.

He is Brittish, he considers himself brittish and represents britain as a proffesional boxer. Who are you to say he is not brittish but canadian? huh? Lennox Lewis himself considers himself brittish and then he is Brittish. and theres nothing you can say do make that change.

But I see you ignored these two posts where i clearly pointed it out.

First of all its not a load of crap its a fact, secondly what difference does it make if you or i believe Lewis was a Brit or not ? its just you trying use something else to bash Lewis for.

If you are going to hate for no reason please have the balls not!! to justify what you are doing.

if what i claim is not true then it would be very simple to disprove ... yet not a single person can disprove what i am saying in my posts about the career of Lennox Lewis... i dont have to find anyone to agree with me, its you and a couple of others who dont agree with me but to not agree with me surely you must have to prove me wrong first, otherwise i will take it that you agree with everything i claim

i have wrote over 20 posts on the career of Lennox Lewis yet all you can call into question is that he is British and not Canadian or that Holmes was more Shot than Holyfield when he fought Tyson

Does that not tell you that everything i have said about the career of Lennox Lewis is 100% correct
not one single reply to my posts has querried anything i have said on the choice of Lewis opponents etc etc

Because its like me trying to argue that Hagler did not have a glass chin thats why. How can i win an argument with a guy that thinks James Toney beat Dave Tiberi clearly and that Lennox Lewis avoided Berbick, Hide because he was afraid, oh yeah hes also no better than Frank Bruno.

See what i mean ? you arguments/posts are ridiculous!!!! so what is the point when you have made up your mind and you are clearly not gonna let a silly thing like commonsense change your mind.

i dont have to find anyone to agree with me, its you and a couple of others who dont agree with me but to not agree with me Well no one in the thread agrees with you and the only reason there aren't more is because its in the history section, you go post your garbage in NSB and see how many people agree with you.

thats correct Lewis was no better than Frank Bruno.. Bruno gave Lewis a lesson in jabbing when they fought, he also was on the verge of stopping Lewis when Lewis `lashed out` with what can only be described as a `lucky punch` Frank Bruno also beat Oliver McCall after McCall had poleaxed Lewis... Bruno had the guts to fight a prime Mike Tyson and the guts to take him on a 2nd time in 96 but Lennox Lewis wanted nothing to do with the "still dangerous" Tyson in 1996 so he baulked on a guaranteed Title fight and a career highest purse and accepted a meagre $3 million step-a-side money and waited another 6yrs for Tyson to completely self-destruct...

Frank Bruno is idolized by the British people whereas Lennox Lewis is reviled by them
