Based upon what exactly? Conteh and Johnson doesn't and shouldn't be rated over the likes of Maske,Czyz and Tiozzo as for Lopez I seriously hope you are joking. No you probably are not which is a very worrying factor.Like I said before,You are the very worst type of boxing fan there is

What is it exactly that makes Virgil Hill, Henry Maske and Fabricio Tiozzo so much better than Matthew Saad Muhammad, Marvin Johnson and John Conteh?

It's no surprise that the light heavyweight division of the late 1970's and early 1980's is often called the golden era of the division. The late 1980's and the early 1990's on the other hand was likely the worst era in LHW history.

Primarily because he went looking for opponents in the graveyard in the first place. The first time he fought a legitimate prime A class opponent he got owned and retired.

That being said, he'll get into the hall because any fighter with a sizable fan following gets in: The IBHOF is all about popularity not greatness.

On the amount of world class fighters he beat, then yes he should be inducted.. I'd say he's a better fighter than Owen Moran or Baby Arizmendi, 2 former feather champs already inducted..

Will Hamed get in the HOF?

I've got 2 words for ya: Barry McGuigan.

I think he does. He had a good reign at featherweight and was an exciting fighter with great talent. I think he had the tools to be Barrera but fought a ****** fight that night with his hands too low. I guess he thought he could do whatever he wanted.

He had had great tools to beat Barrera.A great punch and Barrera's weak chin.Barrera didn't beat him because of a ****ty game plan on Hamed part,He beat him because he fought an absolute shadow of the real naseem hamed. His power got him through his last three years against a bunch of fighters who had a death wish implementing the strategy that they did

Delusional. He was past his best, but he wasn't THAT past it. He simply finally got in there with the best opponent of his career. And you're fooling yourself if you don't think Barrera's technical counter punching skills would have given him fits regardless of the man's prime status.
