Recently saw three fights that are must see for all members of this forum:
Ruben Olivares KO14 Kazuyoshi Kanazawa 10/25/71
A 14 round war! Kanazawa hit Olivares with everything he had in the 14th, including some hellacious uppercuts. Kanazawa wore himself out, and in the 14th, Olivares drilled him to the canvas three times before the referee stopped it. Olivares was one helluva action fighter, especially at 118.
Fidel Bassa KO 13 Dave Macauley 4/25/87
Both men were dropped three times. Macauley was way ahead when Bassa ko'd him in dramatic fashion. One of the greatest fights ever held in Ireland. Macauley let the chance at being flyweight champion slip out of his hands.
Barry Michael W15 Lester Ellis 7/12/85
Michael fought the fight of his life as he won the 130 pound in the 15 round classic. A must see fight.
All three fights are available on the video section. These fights show why the 15 round distance is so much more entertaining than the 12 round distance.
