That was a very good fight yes. But also the one between Moorer and Bert Cooper was awesome. 4 knockdowns and all-out war. Moorer's final KO of Cooper is pure class!

i lways loved watching curry-mccallum. im a bit biased though since mccallum is one of my favourite fighters.

great fight though. most ppl like fighters just trading shots until someone falls over, but i prefer fighters showing some boxing IQ and skills. it was a great display of two true pros at work, chessmatch. beautiful to watch, then BOOM. one of the nastiest left hooks i ever seen and its all over, out of nowhere. great stuff.

gerald mcclellan-julian jackson 1 was a true classic too. great show of boxing skills, knowing anyone could get KOd at any time. great drama and then ofcourse another highlight reel KO.

it was a real dream matchup of brutal punchers too.

June 12, 1982 122 pound title fight between Leo Cruz and Sergio Palma. An absolute war that was broadcast on CBS

The two fights between Chucho castillo and Ruben Olivares for the 118 pound crown. Two tremendous fights!!!!!!

I don't know about most underrated ever, but two excellent fights that aren't mentioned much were two WW title fights in around the same time period.

Simon Brown-Tyrone Trice 1, and Aaron Davis-Mark Breland.

A couple other terrific fights that aren't mentioned that often were 2 bouts in 1996, Kevin Kelley-Derrick Gainer 1 and Frankie Liles-Tim Littles 2.

Everyone remembers Vincent Pettway-Simon Brown for the unforgettable ending, but the fight as a whole was exciting. Both guys on the canvas, fouls galore, a near KO on a foul.
