Schmeling vs Joe Louis (192 vs 198) WAS NOTHING BUT a cruiserweight fight.
    Do you boxing historians agree?

Louis usually weighed above 200 pounds and beat many men who weighed 200 lbs and over (including 255 lb Abe Simon, 260 lb Primo Carnera, 237 lb Buddy Baer)

The cruiserweight limit was 190 lbs until a few years ago anyway. Roy only weighed 193 when he beat Ruiz yet he was recognized as a legitimate heavyweight title holder.
