Just got a message from Roy Harris daughter

I recently uploaded a video of heavyweight Roy Harris training for his fight with Floyd Patterson and i got a message back from his daughter saying that she had just shown him the footage as he hadn't seen it before and enjoyed watching it, would any of you guys have any questions for him?

    Couple of questions.......

First, what fighters from his era does he think he could have beaten but never got the chance?

Second, what were his sparring sessions with Ali really like and does he think he could have beaten him in a sanctioned fight had he been given the chance?

Last, was he really as mean as Larry Hol;mes made him out to be in his book, and has he mellowed with age?

    Thanks man.

** You've confused Roy Harris with Roy Williams, a common mistake I've been guilty of.

I'd ask Roy what happened to his touted brother. I don't see a record on him.

I'd also ask him if he ever considered that his challenge to Patterson may have been the spark that gave rise to the creation of The Beverly Hillbillies with Max Baer Jr assuming his role in the family?

That clip of Roy's sister shooting basketballs reminds me of the natural athleticism and raw country beauty of Miss Ellie Mae.

Maybe he can share the fighters he most admired in the era.

Damn, You're right!! If Im not mistaken Roy Harris was a 50's and 60's fighter who was ko'ed by Sonny Liston.
