    With Rooney and Without

Could any version of Mike Tyson after he left Rooney beat the Mike Tyson that was trained by Rooney from the Berbick title fight to the last fight they were together which was against Spinks?

Explain if you like. Especially if you say "Yes"

No way. everything he did that made him a force, he stopped doing after Rooney. On top of that he was being spoiled by "yes" men who only told him what he wanted to hear and his training habits turned to ****. I can't see any post Rooney version of Tyson beating the one who was push and forced to train and focus by Rooney. Some guys just know what buttons to push to bring the best out of a fighter. Rooney was able to do that with Mike.

Not a hope Rooney had Tyson fine tuned & the numbers system they used was brill i can only imagine with out Rooney or Cus appointing Rooney his trainer with help from Teddy Atlas we wouldn't have seen Tyson fight the way he did all the fears he had were taken out of him by the men a round Rooney gave the right instructions throw the left hook he threw Berbick went after Rooney it was sad to see a waste of talent & the peak a boo style

Tyson after Rooney began to look for the one punch KO more than Tyson did in his prime so I would say that post prime Tyson has a puncher's chance if he can land one of those right hand bombs that he, for example, KO'd Botha with. Other than that he was inferior in all areas really.
