Frazier, Trinidad, Morrison, Ruddock were all great hookers. There might be others from back in the day, but those are the guys that comes immidiately to my mind.

Besides the ones mentioned, when I think of "left hook", I always remember the one Gerry Cooney hit Ron Lyle with in the body. It looked like it went into Lyle so deep that all the laces disappeared as well. It looked like the whole glove went in Lyle up to Cooney's wrist! And not Lyle's stomache, his RIBS!

That was a shot that I'll always remember. Real impressive work.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has one of the best check left hooks ever, and it is scary quick and accurate and has put dudes down. Cotto has a vicious left hook up top and down stairs and is feared by most.
